Viu, building on its regional leadership, continued to deliver high-quality, regionalized, and localized content to audiences across 15 markets in Southeast Asia, the Middle East, and South Africa. During the year, Viu added a net 1.3 million paying subscribers, reaching a significant total of 16.8 million paying subscribers. Performance was particularly strong in Thailand, Indonesia, and Malaysia, driven by closer collaboration with local partners and strategies to enhance penetration in these key markets.

Looking ahead, Viu will prioritize investment in markets where it has established a solid foundation to achieve economies of scale. This growth is supported by the continuous expansion of a balanced and carefully curated content portfolio spanning multiple genres and languages. Under its focus on premium content, Viu launched over 200 new titles, including new Korean series, an expanded lineup of Chinese-language programs in response to surging regional demand, and a range of ViuOriginal productions tailored for local audiences.

Hit series such as the Korean drama "Taxi Driver 3" and the Chinese-language series "Let Me Shine" contributed significantly to paying subscriber growth and user engagement across multiple markets. The expanding Viu subscriber base, combined with prudent content investment, drove a 13% increase in Viu subscription revenue and a 56% rise in OTT business EBITDA.
