Macau's Gaming Inspection and Coordination Bureau reported that gross revenue from games of fortune reached MOP19.894 billion in April, representing a year-on-year increase of 5.5%. This figure fell short of the estimated growth rate of 6.5%. From January to April, cumulative gross gaming revenue totaled MOP85.767 billion, marking a 12.1% rise compared to the same period last year. Previously, CLSA had projected that April's total gaming revenue would grow by 11% year-on-year to MOP20.9 billion. Morgan Stanley had anticipated that starting in May, the growth rate of gaming revenue would slow down annually, with negative EBITDA growth expected in the second and third quarters.
