As the summer travel peak draws to a close, airfares from Nanchang are seeing a significant drop, presenting a cost-effective window for travelers hoping to avoid the crowds.

According to data from the Jiangxi Airport Group on August 21st, Nanchang Changbei International Airport is now offering multiple routes with ticket prices as low as 200 to 300 yuan. This move is designed to provide budget-friendly options for passengers planning to travel during the off-peak period.

OTA platform data for the next month reveals that one-way fares (excluding taxes) from Nanchang to cities like Huai'an, Luoyang, and Xuzhou start from as little as 200 yuan. For coastal destinations such as Xiamen, Dalian, and Zhuhai, prices start from 300 yuan. Travelers heading to northwestern cities like Yinchuan and Lanzhou can find tickets from 260 yuan, while popular tourist spots including Xi'an, Chengdu, Jinan, and Lijiang have fares starting at 380 yuan.

On the international and regional front, direct flights from Nanchang to visa-free Southeast Asian destinations like Bangkok, Kuala Lumpur, and Singapore are available for as low as 670 yuan for a one-way ticket including taxes. Flights to Macau are even cheaper, starting from just 533 yuan. It's worth noting that Singapore, Malaysia, and Thailand all currently offer visa-free entry for holders of ordinary Chinese passports.
