President Donald Trump told reporters at a White House event that Jeanine Pirro, the U.S. Attorney for the District of Columbia, will take her investigation of the Federal Reserve "all the way."

"She has to take the investigation all the way and see," Trump said when asked if he wanted Pirro to drop the probe into Fed Chair Jerome Powell.
