AIR CHINA (00753) announced that due to retirement, Mr. Wang Mingyuan has resigned from his positions as Vice Chairman, Executive Director, Chairman and Member of the Board's Aviation Safety Committee, and President of the company, effective March 5, 2026. On the same date, it was resolved to appoint Mr. Qu Guangji as President of the company, effective immediately. The Board of Directors also resolved on the same day to propose the appointment of Mr. Qu as an Executive Director and Vice Chairman of the company. The proposed appointment of Mr. Qu as an Executive Director is subject to approval by shareholders at a general meeting of the company.
