Concord New Energy shareholders back Share Scheme with 78.23% approval

Concord New Energy Group Limited reported that its Special General Meeting on 25 June 2026 passed the proposed Share Scheme and related Scheme Mandate Limit by poll vote.

A total of 4.16 billion shares were cast, representing 52.96% of the 7.86 billion issued shares entitled to vote. Supportive votes reached 3.26 billion (78.23%), while 906.47 million shares (21.77%) were voted against.

According to the announcement, no shareholder was required to abstain under Hong Kong Listing Rules, no treasury shares were held, and there were no stated intentions to oppose or abstain in advance of the meeting. Tricor Investor Services Limited acted as scrutineer for the poll.

All 12 directors—led by Chairman Liu Shunxing, Vice Chairperson Liu Jianhong and CEO Niu Wenhui—attended the meeting.

The approval authorises the immediate adoption of the Share Scheme within the defined Scheme Mandate Limit.
