Recently, the Pingao Children's Home commenced operations in Taipan Village, Qiandongnan Prefecture. As the birthplace of the renowned "Village Basketball Association (VBA)," the facility embraces a basketball-inspired theme titled "Basketball Nurtures Dreams, Childhood Sets Sail." The recreational area features basketball-shaped toys, the reading zone offers basketball-themed picture books, and the study area is adorned with basketball motifs, creating a vibrant atmosphere throughout.

The project was donated by Hebei Pingao Trading Co., Ltd. through the Guizhou Charity Federation, with a total contribution of 500,000 yuan. Of this amount, 150,000 yuan was allocated for venue decoration and equipment procurement, while 350,000 yuan is earmarked to cover operational costs for the next three years. Local social workers will provide services focusing on basketball initiation, Miao ethnic culture preservation, safety education, and mental health counseling.
