According to the "Administrative Measures for the Ministry of Education's University and School Curriculum Textbook Research Projects" (Document No. 1 of 2025) and the "Notice of the General Office of the Ministry of Education on Organizing the Application for the 2026 Ministry of Education's University and School Curriculum Textbook Research Projects" (Document No. 5 of 2026), a total of 91 projects have been approved for the 2026 academic year. These projects were selected through a rigorous application process, expert review, and public announcement.

Among the approved projects, several focus on trending topics such as 人工智能, digital-intelligent curriculum textbooks, vocational school internationalization ("going global"), and the cultivation of outstanding engineering talent for strategically vital and emerging fields. Notably, 11 projects related to 人工智能 have been included, accounting for approximately 12% of the total number of projects. These include initiatives like "Research on the Construction of General Education Course Textbooks for Artificial Intelligence in Primary, Secondary, and Higher Education," "Research on Artificial Intelligence Economics Textbooks from the Perspective of Technological Revolution," and "Theoretical and Applied Research on the Quality Evaluation of AI-Supported Textbooks and Teaching Cases."
