BQD Releases Updated Board and Committee Composition

Bank of Qingdao Co., Ltd. (BQD) published an updated roster of its board of directors and detailed the latest committee assignments as of 24 August 2026.

BQD’s Board Structure • Executive directors: Jing Zailun (Chairman), Wu Xianming, Chen Shuang, and Liu Peng. • Non-executive directors: Deng Youcheng, Rosario Strano, Zhou Yunjie, Giamberto Giraldo, and Tan Lixia. • Independent non-executive directors: Xing Lecheng, Zhang Xu, Cheung Man Chor (Elton), Du Ning, and Zhang Shixing. • Employee director: Liu Xiaoshu.

Independent non-executive directors chair three of the seven committees—Audit, Remuneration, and Related Party Transactions Control—reinforcing independent supervision within core governance areas. 3. The presence of an employee representative, Liu Xiaoshu, on the Board aligns with broader stakeholder inclusion practices in Chinese banking institutions.

No changes to the company’s licensing status in Hong Kong were announced; BQD remains unauthorised under the Hong Kong Banking Ordinance and is not supervised by the Hong Kong Monetary Authority.
