Six provincial-level departments in Jilin have officially launched a collaborative initiative to create a new express delivery brand focused on supporting local agriculture. The Provincial Postal Administration, along with the departments of Agriculture and Rural Affairs, Commerce, Market Regulation, Supply and Marketing Cooperatives, and Radio and Television, jointly issued the implementation plan for establishing the "Jipin Jidi" agricultural assistance brand. This initiative marks the official start of brand creation and promotional activities designed to leverage express logistics to boost the distribution of Jilin's premium agricultural products nationwide.
The plan establishes four core objectives. First, it aims to improve efficiency and open up sales channels, enabling local agricultural products to reach consumer markets across the country directly, thereby increasing farmer incomes and enhancing industry profitability. Second, it focuses on deepening the integration of e-commerce and express delivery services to expand online sales avenues for agricultural products. Third, the initiative seeks to consolidate the achievements of the "express delivery to villages" program by ensuring the sustainable operation of village-level delivery outlets and strengthening the rural logistics service foundation. Fourth, it aims to empower comprehensive rural revitalization by activating the rural e-commerce market and stimulating rural employment and entrepreneurship.
The plan also outlines eight key tasks to be implemented. These include focusing on brand cultivation and upgrading to transform Jilin's agricultural products from merely having products to having established brands; improving the three-tier promotion mechanism linking province, city, and county levels; diversifying the narrative around Jilin's agricultural support stories; deepening multi-departmental collaboration and support; optimizing delivery service guarantees by improving the three-tier logistics network; enforcing strict quality control measures; selectively identifying agricultural products that meet the "five qualities" criteria; and implementing green packaging requirements for express deliveries.
