Ukrainian forces have conducted a new wave of drone attacks targeting two more warehouses belonging to the Russian e-commerce giant Wildberries, as confirmed by the company's leadership on Wednesday, expanding the aerial assaults on a key player in Russia's consumer economy.

Wildberries co-founder and CEO Tatyana Kim stated that facilities in the southern Russian cities of Krasnodar and Nevinnomyssk were hit. Social media footage verified by Reuters showed a large plume of smoke rising from the Krasnodar site. The regional governor reported that a young woman was killed in the attack, with three other individuals hospitalized.

Often referred to as the "Amazon of Russia," Wildberries is also one of the nation's largest employers. The company is not publicly listed, but shares of its competitor, Ozon, fell 2.3% in Wednesday afternoon trading, though they recovered from earlier lows, as market concerns grew that it could also become a target for attacks.
