Intel Corp (INTC.US) and Advanced Micro Devices Inc (AMD.US) both dropped over 4%, and Broadcom Inc (AVGO.US) slipped by 1.6%. The weakness in chipmakers underscores renewed pressure on the technology sector amid ongoing market volatility.
