According to the National Development and Reform Commission, since the adjustment of domestic refined oil product prices on August 14th, international crude oil prices have been fluctuating. The average price during the 10 working days prior to this adjustment was higher than the average price from the same period before the previous adjustment. Reflecting the changes in international oil market conditions, from 24:00 on August 28th, domestic gasoline and diesel (standard product) prices will rise by 375 yuan and 360 yuan per ton, respectively.

Based on this calculation, once the retail price cap for refined oil products is confirmed, private car owners will pay an additional 14.5 yuan per full tank of 50 liters of 92-octane gasoline.
