Hong Kong–listed Sihuan Pharmaceutical has secured regulatory approval in the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region for two in-house medical-aesthetics products—the Polycaprolactone Microsphere Facial Filler for Injection (PCL) and the Hyaluronic Acid Sodium Composite Solution for Injection (skin booster). Both products were conceived and manufactured by Meiyan Space Biotechnology (Jilin), a wholly owned subsidiary of the group.
The PCL filler, available in 0.5 mL, 1.0 mL and 2.0 mL formats, delivers immediate volumizing through a polycaprolactone gel and stimulates tissue regeneration for sustained results. It was previously cleared by China’s National Medical Products Administration (NMPA) in April 2025 for moderate-to-severe nasolabial fold correction.
The skin booster, offered in seven dosing configurations from 0.5 mL to a 5 mL pack, is China’s first hyaluronic-acid composite containing L-carnosine for intradermal facial use. Approved earlier by the NMPA across 12 specifications, the product is indicated to relieve adult facial dryness and dullness through hydrating, antioxidant, anti-glycation and anti-inflammatory actions.
Management positions the dual approvals as a pivotal step in Sihuan Pharmaceutical’s strategy to expand its medical-aesthetics footprint beyond mainland China. The licences validate the group’s R&D, manufacturing and quality-control capabilities to Hong Kong standards and provide a template for additional registrations across the Asia-Pacific region.
Meiyan Space underpins this expansion with an integrated “self-research + BD” model and a pipeline exceeding 60 products spanning fillers, contouring agents, tissue supports, energy-based devices and skin-care injectables. Its commercial network reaches over 370 Chinese cities and more than 9,000 medical-aesthetic institutions, supported by three global manufacturing bases.
Established in 2001 and listed on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange since 2010, Sihuan Pharmaceutical is advancing a dual-engine strategy across medical aesthetics and biopharmaceuticals, aiming to evolve into a leading international healthcare player.
