MINIEYE (02431) announced that it has formally entered into a strategic cooperation agreement with DiDi Green Technology (Shenzhen) Co., Ltd. (DiDi) and Bihu New Energy Automotive Technology Co., Ltd. (Bihu Tech). The three parties will collaborate to design, produce, and deliver 3,000 competitive, vehicle-regulation-standard-compliant unmanned logistics vehicles. The initiative aims to create economies of scale, address market gaps, capture market share, and establish a leading product and brand position in the industry.
Under the agreement, the collaboration will focus on the research, manufacturing, and commercial application of unmanned logistics vehicles, guided by the principle of leveraging complementary strengths, coordinated development, and shared success. Key areas of cooperation include:
1. MINIEYE will be responsible for meeting national and industry vehicle certification standards and ensuring the unmanned logistics vehicles possess precise environmental perception, stable path decision-making, and efficient control capabilities in complex scenarios such as industrial parks and urban distribution. The group will lead the integration of the intelligent driving system with the chassis, conduct software debugging and system optimization, and organize full-scenario joint testing to ensure operational readiness upon delivery to DiDi.
2. Bihu Tech will lead the research and development of the unmanned logistics vehicle chassis system. It will leverage its automotive manufacturing expertise, manage upstream and downstream supply chain integration, oversee core component selection, performance validation, multi-scenario testing, and production, ensuring structural stability, operational reliability, and safety in compliance with vehicle regulations and agreed technical requirements.
3. DiDi will contribute to product definition based on its deep understanding of logistics scenarios, terminal market demand, operational challenges, and customer feedback. It will provide professional, practical input on product functionality, performance metrics, design, and cost control to align the final product with market expectations. DiDi will also be responsible for the final operation, market promotion, and implementation of the business model for the unmanned logistics vehicles.
4. All parties agree to pursue large-scale deployment, leveraging integrated manufacturing and operational resources to achieve mass adoption of unmanned logistics vehicles across multiple scenarios, thereby enhancing logistics efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
The three parties possess complementary strengths in their respective fields, providing a solid foundation for cooperation and promising development prospects. This collaboration is intended to break through traditional industry barriers and promote the large-scale application of autonomous driving technology in urban logistics.
The Board believes that the agreement enables complementary resource and technology sharing. By combining MINIEYE's fully self-developed L4 autonomous driving technology and mass production experience with DiDi's mature logistics network and market insight, and Bihu Tech's extensive automotive R&D and manufacturing expertise, the partnership will effectively reduce logistics costs, provide a replicable model for cost reduction and efficiency improvement, and contribute to the development of a smart logistics ecosystem.
The long-term development prospects for MINIEYE's L4 unmanned logistics vehicle business are positive.
