On the evening of September 20, it was announced that JD.com and China Resources Land formally reached a strategic partnership on September 19, confirming that JD.com MALL's inaugural Hong Kong store will be located in the core Wan Chai district, with plans to commence operations in 2026.
According to the announcement, JD.com MALL's first Hong Kong location will occupy the second floor of China Resources Bay View Centre at 28 Harbour Road, Wan Chai, and will feature a collection of internationally renowned brands alongside Chinese technology brands. A representative from JD.com MALL stated that through years of operational experience, the company has developed a mature business model and accumulated extensive brand resources. Moving forward, JD.com MALL will leverage its robust supply chain and digital capabilities, collaborating with local partners to create a new commercial landmark that integrates fashion, technology, and experiential retail.
Currently, JD.com MALL operates 24 stores nationwide, strategically positioned in major first-tier cities and key provincial capitals. The platform now offers over 200,000 trendy products across multiple categories, including home appliances, mobile communications, and digital lifestyle products. Additionally, JD.com MALL has innovatively developed complimentary experience zones for gaming, coffee roasting, and smart home technologies, delivering immersive, digitalized, and comprehensive shopping experiences for consumers.
In June this year, JD.com and China Resources Group signed a strategic cooperation agreement in Shenzhen, establishing comprehensive collaboration across Hong Kong and overseas market expansion, covering consumer goods, energy efficiency management, commercial real estate, pharmaceutical healthcare, industrial finance, logistics services, and digital transformation initiatives. Within this framework, China Resources provided crucial support for the site selection of JD.com MALL's Hong Kong flagship store and facilitated the project's implementation.
Furthermore, JD.com MALL's Shenzhen Nanshan store officially opened in September 2025. With the upcoming launch of the Hong Kong flagship store, JD.com MALL will establish a "dual MALL synergy" strategic presence across the Greater Bay Area.
