On March 6, the aerospace sector showed signs of recovery during early trading. The General Aviation ETF Huabao (159231), which provides exposure to commercial aerospace, satellite navigation, the low-altitude economy, and large aircraft, saw its price rise by 1.43% after opening. The fund recorded a net subscription of 3 million units during the session.

The uptick follows news that on March 5, the U.S. Senate Committee on Commerce, Science, and Transportation passed the 2026 NASA Authorization Act in a brief meeting. The legislation outlines NASA's space strategy for the next two years, focusing on adjustments to the Artemis lunar program, an extension of the International Space Station, and enhanced support for commercial spaceflight and supply chain security.

Industry experts view the cultivation and expansion of commercial aerospace as a strategic priority in global competition. According to statistics, China conducted eight space launch missions in January. Notably, the Long March 12B carrier rocket successfully completed a static firing test, while the Lihong-1 Yao-1 vehicle finished a suborbital flight. China has also applied to the International Telecommunication Union (ITU) for frequency and orbital resources for over 200,000 satellites. Reports indicate that by 2026, China's annual launch count is expected to exceed 100, with commercial launches accounting for more than 60 of them.

The General Aviation ETF Huabao (159231) and its feeder funds (Class A: 024766; Class C: 024767) track an index comprising 50 aerospace stocks. The portfolio covers popular segments such as the low-altitude economy, commercial aerospace, satellite navigation, large aircraft, unmanned aerial vehicles, and military aircraft. Specifically, the fund has over 88% exposure to the low-altitude economy theme, more than 65% to commercial aerospace, and over 47% to satellite navigation, making it a comprehensive tool for investing in China's aerospace industry chain.
