CapitaLand Ascott Trust issues 5.17 million stapled securities to pay management fees

CapitaLand Ascott Trust (CLAS) said on Aug, 6 2026 that its managers have issued 5,167,858 new stapled securities as partial payment of management and performance fees for the period from Apr, 1 2026 to Jun, 30 2026.

The stapled securities were allotted at S$0.8954 each, comprising 4,433,698 units issued to Somerset Capital Pte. Ltd. on behalf of the REIT manager for base fees and 734,160 units issued to the same entity on behalf of the trustee-manager for base and performance fees.

With the issuance, the trust’s total units in circulation have risen to about 3.86 billion. The REIT manager’s holding remains at 10.50 million units (0.272%) and the trustee-manager’s stake stays at 1.10 million units (0.028%). The CapitaLand Investment Limited Group’s aggregate interest in the trust increased from 25.07% to 25.17%.
