XIAOMI-W has launched the Xiaomi Smart Door Lock 4 Pro on its online store, marking the first product in the Door Lock 4 series. Priced at 2499 yuan, the device features a premium design and powerful functionality.

The Xiaomi Smart Door Lock 4 Pro showcases comprehensive design upgrades, offering a more "luxurious" texture compared to previous generations. The exterior is equipped with a high-definition camera, while the interior features a built-in peephole display screen.

For unlocking methods, the Xiaomi Smart Door Lock 4 Pro provides up to 12 different options, including AI palm vein recognition, AI 3D face recognition, AI fingerprint recognition, permanent passwords, periodic/one-time passwords, remote unlocking, smartphone Bluetooth unlocking, emergency mechanical keys, and support for Xiaomi phones, watches, bands, and NFC door cards (sold separately).

The AI palm vein recognition technology utilizes near-infrared light to scan palm veins and collect vein characteristics, enabling contactless palm scanning for instant unlocking. It maintains a false rejection rate below 1% and recognition speed under 1 second, effectively addressing unlocking challenges for elderly users with worn fingerprints and height limitations for children.

The AI 3D face recognition technology simulates human binocular vision to map facial features and incorporates 3D liveness detection to effectively prevent malicious attacks. It achieves a false rejection rate below 1%, false acceptance rate below 0.0001%, and recognition speed of approximately 1 second.

For security protection, the Xiaomi Smart Door Lock 4 Pro features an intelligent peephole on the exterior, equipped with 24GHz millimeter-wave radar combined with AI human detection algorithms. When someone approaches and lingers, the system automatically records video and sends notifications. The camera offers 2 megapixel resolution with a 152° ultra-wide viewing angle and supports dynamic night vision imaging for full-color imaging in low-light environments, automatically switching to black-and-white night vision mode in complete darkness.

The interior integrates a high-definition display screen that automatically lights up when visitors press the doorbell, allowing users to check outside conditions at any time.

The lock mechanism features Xiaomi's self-developed noise-reduction fully automatic lock body, enabling automatic locking upon door closure while reducing opening and closing noise. A direct-insert Class C lock cylinder penetrates the entire lock body, further enhancing security.

Additionally, the Xiaomi Smart Door Lock 4 Pro provides multiple security alert functions, including door not closed, door ajar, panel tampering, loitering detection, multiple failed attempts, and duress fingerprint emergency alerts.

Regarding power supply, the device employs an intelligent power system combining lithium and dry batteries, featuring dual Type-C universal interfaces on both interior and exterior sides. A single 5000mAh lithium battery provides approximately 4 months of operation, while 4 AA alkaline dry batteries support about 6 months of use. The system issues reminders when battery level drops below 5% and automatically switches to dry battery power when the lithium battery is depleted. The lock also supports external power bank emergency charging and can connect to power banks or direct power sources indoors for lithium battery charging, ensuring normal operation under any circumstances.
