Engro Corporation faces winding-up bid for 80%-owned unit

Engro Corporation Limited announced that its 80%-owned subsidiary, EnGro (Asia) Pte. Ltd. (EAPL), has received a winding-up application dated Oct, 13 2025 from Sieco Asia Pte. Ltd., which holds the remaining 20% stake in the unit.

The application, filed with the General Division of the High Court of Singapore, seeks a court order to liquidate EAPL. Engro said it is currently obtaining legal advice and will update shareholders on any further developments.

The company added that the potential liquidation of EAPL is not expected to have a material impact on the Group’s consolidated net tangible assets per share or earnings per share for the financial year ending Dec, 31 2025.
