Do Kwon Says Five Years in Prison Enough for Terra Crypto Fraud

Terraform Labs Pte. co-founder Do Kwon says he should get no more than five years in prison in the US for his role in a fraud tied to the $40 billion collapse of the TerraUSD stablecoin in 2022.

Kwon pleaded guilty in August to conspiracy and wire fraud and averted a trial after he was extradited to the US from Montenegro, where he’d been arrested and convicted of using a phony passport while a fugitive from charges in his native South Korea.

Tom Lee Cuts Bitcoin Price Prediction to $100K

Veteran crypto analyst Tom Lee has scaled back his typically bullish forecast for Bitcoin to end the year at $250,000, saying he now expects the BTC to finish at a price 「above $100,000.」

The analyst’s shift in tone comes as he also argues that rising gold purchases by stablecoin issuers are helping establish a higher long-term price floor for Bitcoin.

Strategy Says Even a Bitcoin Crash to $25,000 Wouldn’t Break Its Balance Sheet

Strategy (formerly MicroStrategy) has confirmed that its assets-to-debt collateral ratio would remain at 2.0x, even if Bitcoin (BTC) fell to $25,000, far below its $74,000 average purchase price.

This comes as the company’s stock has declined by 49% and faces the possibility of exclusion from MSCI indices, with a decision expected by January 2026.
