Contemporary Amperex Technology Co., Limited (CATL) reported third-quarter (July–September 2026) revenue of RMB165.22 billion, a 58.58% year-on-year increase, driven by continued expansion in its power battery and energy storage businesses. Net profit attributable to shareholders rose 14.54% to RMB21.25 billion, implying a quarterly net margin of 12.9% versus roughly 17.8% in the prior-year period, reflecting faster growth in cost of sales and foreign-exchange effects.

Finance costs moved to a net expense of RMB1.45 billion from a RMB7.02 billion credit a year earlier, mainly due to foreign-exchange losses.
