According to an update from the Ministry of Civil Affairs' third-quarter regular press conference on July 30, a nationwide initiative to distribute elderly care service consumption subsidies to elderly individuals with moderate to severe disabilities has been implemented.

As of the latest data, the program has processed 10.7992 million redemptions of consumption vouchers, with a total reimbursement amount of 6.512 billion yuan. This has spurred 29.093 billion yuan in elderly care service consumption, benefiting approximately 2 million elderly people with moderate to severe disabilities.
