In the first half of 2026, 13 new specialist technology companies went public, raising HKD29.823 billion. This accounted for 14.9% of the total number of new listings (87) during the period and 14.2% of the total IPO fundraising (HKD210.195 billion).

Cumulative Figures Since Inception

Since the first listing under Chapter 18C by XTALPI (SEHK: 02228) on June 13, 2024, a cumulative total of 21 specialist technology companies have now gone public via this route. Collectively, they have raised HKD38.740 billion through IPOs, averaging HKD1.845 billion per listing.

Current Application and Listing Status (as of June 30, 2026)

As of June 30, 2026, there are 14 specialist technology companies with active listing applications. It is noted that some companies initially filed under Chapter 18C but may not be classified as such upon subsequent application submissions.
