The Dongguan Commission for Discipline Inspection and Supervision has concluded an investigation into serious disciplinary and legal breaches by Li Zhiming, former vice principal of Dongguan Information Technology School. The probe found that Li abandoned his ideals and convictions, betrayed his original mission, violated organizational principles, and improperly sought personal benefits in personnel matters. He breached integrity standards by engaging in for-profit activities and accepting money and property against regulations. Li engaged in power-for-money transactions, exploiting his position to benefit others in securing campus construction projects and teaching staff appointments, while illegally accepting large sums of money and assets. His actions severely violated the Party's organizational and integrity disciplines, constituted serious duty-related offenses, and involved suspected bribery crimes. Notably, Li continued misconduct without restraint after the 18th National Congress of the Communist Party of China, demonstrating severe and damaging implications warranting strict penalties. Based on relevant regulations including the CPC Disciplinary Action Rules and China's Supervision Law, the Dongguan Municipal Commission for Discipline Inspection decided to expel Li from the Party and dismiss him from public office. His illicit gains will be confiscated, and the suspected duty-related crime case has been transferred to procuratorial organs for legal review and prosecution, along with related assets.
