CHINA NEWCITY (01321) surged over 100%, with intraday gains exceeding 150%. As of press time, the stock was up 105.41% to HK$1.57, with trading volume of HK$3.2819 million.

On the news front, CHINA NEWCITY announced that the company officially participated as one of the joint founding units in establishing the "Hong Kong Real World Assets Global Industry Alliance" on July 30, 2025. The alliance is expected to focus on blockchain, artificial intelligence, and Internet of Things technologies, with key breakthroughs in asset digitization transformation in real estate, green finance, and cross-border trade sectors, as well as exploring cross-border asset digitization cooperation mechanisms with ASEAN countries.

As of December 31, 2024, the group's investment property value shown in the accounts was approximately RMB 4.337 billion. The board of directors observed that the group's market capitalization has long been below the book value of net assets, reflecting that asset value has not been fully reflected in the capital market.

With global enterprises and institutions increasingly accepting digital currencies and decentralized finance, RWA tokenization is gradually becoming a strategic component of financing needs and asset management. The group will leverage the alliance's technical expertise, regulatory knowledge, and synergistic resources to explore RWA tokenization, aiming to provide a more objective fair value measurement approach for the group's held assets and promote the release of asset value.
