NIO Inc. held its new ES8 product technology launch event on the evening of August 21st, where NIO founder Li Bin delivered an opening speech. He stated that 2025 represents an inflection point when user experience benefits from pure electric technology will outweigh the experience losses caused by charging inconvenience.

"The marker of this inflection point is that recently, more and more pure electric large three-row SUVs have begun entering the market, with sales starting to surge at growth rates far exceeding those of range-extended, plug-in hybrid, and fuel-powered large three-row vehicles," Li Bin explained.

He emphasized that "user choices and market data have unequivocally demonstrated that the pure electric era for large three-row SUVs is arriving."
