Fuel Price Increase Alert: Upcoming Adjustment Set to Raise Costs

International crude oil prices fell for a third consecutive session on the 18th, with declines recorded at market close. Light sweet crude for October delivery on the New York Mercantile Exchange dropped $1.61 to settle at $100.30 per barrel, a decrease of 1.58%. Meanwhile, Brent crude for November delivery on the London ICE Futures Exchange slipped 95 cents to close at $103.87 per barrel, marking a 0.91% decline.

Based on the current pricing mechanism for refined oil products, the next adjustment window is scheduled for 24:00 on September 24th. As of the fourth working day of the monitoring period on September 17th, projections indicate gasoline and diesel prices are expected to rise by 610 yuan per tonne and 590 yuan per tonne, respectively. Converted to per-liter figures, this would mean an increase of 0.49 yuan for 92-octane gasoline, 0.52 yuan for 95-octane gasoline, and 0.50 yuan for 0-diesel fuel.
