On December 18, Zhang Yi, Deputy Party Secretary and President of China Construction Bank (CCB), met with Liu Xiaoming, Governor of Hainan Province, in Haikou. The meeting was also attended by Zhao Feng, Vice Governor of Hainan, and Cai Qiang, Secretary-General of the Hainan Provincial Government.

Both sides discussed leveraging the policies of the Hainan Free Trade Port and CCB's comprehensive service advantages to promote the functional transformation of CCB's Hainan branch. Key areas of focus included expanding cross-border finance, trade financing, and other functional businesses in Hainan, deepening cooperation with key industrial parks, industries, and enterprises in the Hainan Free Trade Port, supporting the development of cross-border asset management pilot programs, and facilitating the establishment of a management-oriented project company by CCB Financial Leasing in Hainan to enhance the high-quality development of the local financial leasing industry.

Representatives from relevant departments of the Hainan Provincial Government, as well as officials from CCB's headquarters office, international business department, and Hainan branch, participated in the meeting.
