At the opening of the 2026 World Robot Congress in Beijing, the expo hall buzzed with activity as the first day kicked off at the Boren Yichuang International Convention Center. Among the highlights, the embodied logistics sorting robot developed by Stardust Era Robotics delivered an impressive live demonstration, efficiently sorting express parcels on-site. Operating over a uniformly moving conveyor belt, the robot autonomously identified packages of varying specifications, sizes, materials, and weights, seamlessly executing a series of supply tasks including grasping, flipping, and placing the parcels back onto the line.

According to staff at the scene, Stardust Era Robotics has successfully validated its product-market fit, completing the full cycle from R&D to mass delivery within a commercially viable framework. The sorting robots have already forged deep partnerships with leading domestic logistics firms such as China Post and SF Express, with units now deployed on a large scale across more than ten sorting centers in five provinces and operating on a routine basis.

"Currently, this robot can sort parcels at a rate of 1,200 units per hour, and in internal stress tests, it has hit a top speed of 2,000 units per hour," a representative noted on-site.
