BITFIRE GROUP (01611) has announced that on April 21, 2026, its wholly-owned subsidiary, Sinohope Digital Service Limited, intends to acquire a software asset from Future Capital Investment Management Limited for a consideration of approximately $1.58 million. The software asset includes the AvenirX system, a proprietary investment and trading operating system developed in-house. This system comprises approximately forty-two functional and technical modules, covering the entire investment lifecycle. The Board believes the acquisition will enable the buyer, the Group's wholly-owned subsidiary, to directly own and fully integrate the AvenirX system. This system is a proprietary, institution-grade investment and trading operating platform featuring a complete closed-loop architecture that encompasses investment research, strategy and portfolio management, order management, execution, risk control, and performance analysis. The AvenirX system serves as core infrastructure to support scalable alpha generation and the long-term growth of the Group's assets under management. By integrating this self-developed core intellectual property under the Group's ownership, the acquisition is expected to streamline internal technology deployment, enhance cross-market visibility, strengthen real-time risk management throughout the entire trading process, and improve execution efficiency, thereby supporting the overall operational capability and long-term development of the Group's asset management business.
