COSCO SHIP INTL (00517) announced its interim results for 2025, reporting revenue of HK$1.934 billion, representing a year-on-year increase of 10.3%. Profit attributable to equity holders reached HK$487 million, up 25.6% compared to the same period last year. Basic earnings per share stood at HK$0.3324, with a proposed interim dividend of HK$0.33 per share.

During the period, the year-on-year revenue growth was primarily driven by increased segment revenue from coatings and ship trading agency businesses. The rise in profit attributable to equity holders was mainly due to higher revenue from shipping services, increased share of profits from the joint venture COSCO Jotun Marine Coatings (Hong Kong) Limited, and higher net foreign exchange gains.
