ComfortDelGro Corporation Limited said it will hold its 23rd annual general meeting on Apr, 24 2026, 10:00 a.m., at the Sands Expo & Convention Centre in Singapore and via electronic means.

In a written Q&A released on Apr, 17 2026, the land-transport operator told shareholders that rising fuel prices are largely cushioned by contractual fuel-indexation clauses in its public-transport contracts and by hedging. Taxi and private-hire drivers bear their own fuel costs, but the group has supported them through temporary fare surcharges.

Return on equity improved to 8.9 per cent in 2025 from 8.1 per cent in 2024. The board reaffirmed its policy of paying at least 70 per cent of annual profit as dividends, noting that payout ratios have recently been about 80 per cent.

Net finance costs are projected to fall in FY2026, helped by scheduled debt repayments and lower benchmark rates. Group borrowings rose to 1.18 billion Singapore dollars at end-2025 from 491.1 million Singapore dollars a year earlier, mainly to fund the purchase of 452 buses for Metroline Manchester, 271 electric buses in London and the acquisition of the remaining shares in CityCab.

Bus-fleet capital expenditure totalled 397.1 million Singapore dollars in 2025 versus 129.6 million Singapore dollars in 2024, and further fully funded purchases are planned if the company wins new tenders such as those in Liverpool and West Yorkshire, U.K. ComfortDelGro, via a consortium with RATP Dev, is also bidding for the Copenhagen Metro operations contract set to start in late-2027.

In Singapore, the Tampines bus package will transfer to a new operator in mid-2026, while seven other packages have extension options at the Land Transport Authority’s discretion. A tender for the Serangoon-Eunos package closes in Apr, 2026.

The Singapore taxi fleet fell to 7,602 vehicles at Dec, 31 2025 from 8,424 a year earlier amid intense ride-hailing competition. The company plans to expand business-to-business services, add premium six-seater cars and limousines, and review commission structures. Autonomous-vehicle trials continue in Guangzhou, where robotaxis are generating fares, and on public roads in Punggol, Singapore.

ComfortDelGro ruled out a near-term IPO of its Australian operations but said it will keep evaluating merger-and-acquisition opportunities, potentially funded by additional debt if the returns are attractive.
