China Aluminum International Engineering Corporation Limited (CHALIECO) reported that newly-signed contracts totalled RMB18.19 billion in the first half of 2026, a year-on-year increase of 10.89%. April–June contributed RMB6.65 billion to this figure.

Sector mix • Industrial projects dominated, generating RMB17.98 billion, up 15.00% and accounting for 98.85% of total new orders. • Non-industrial contracts fell 72.79% to RMB0.21 billion.

Business mix • Design consultancy orders surged 60.54% to RMB1.93 billion. • EPC/general contracting and engineering rose 5.32% to RMB14.73 billion. • Equipment manufacturing advanced 25.85% to RMB1.53 billion.

Regional mix • Domestic contracts edged up 0.89% to RMB13.33 billion. • Overseas contracts expanded 52.31% to RMB4.86 billion, lifting the offshore share of total new orders to 26.7%.

Contract backlog As of 30 June 2026, CHALIECO’s order book stood at RMB53.80 billion, 17.37% higher than a year earlier. • Industrial backlog: RMB49.49 billion (+53.04%). • Non-industrial backlog: RMB4.31 billion (-68.10%). • EPC/general contracting and engineering accounted for RMB44.29 billion (+27.06%), while design consultancy totalled RMB4.77 billion (+6.93%) and equipment manufacturing RMB4.74 billion (-27.32%). • Overseas backlog more than doubled to RMB23.34 billion (+108.20%), whereas domestic backlog slipped 12.04% to RMB30.46 billion.
