Shandong Boan Biotechnology Co., Ltd. (Boan Biotech) repurchased 1.70 million H-shares on 7 September 2026, paying a total of HKD 5.24 million. The transaction was executed on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange at prices ranging from HKD 2.71 to HKD 3.23 per share, with a volume-weighted average cost of HKD 3.08 per share.
Following the buyback, the company’s issued share capital (excluding treasury shares) decreased by 0.27 % to 617.43 million shares. Treasury shares increased to 4.90 million, while total issued shares remained unchanged at 622.33 million, as the repurchased shares are being held in treasury and have not been cancelled.
The repurchase forms part of the mandate granted by shareholders on 22 June 2026, which authorises the company to buy back up to 62.23 million shares. Cumulative repurchases under this mandate now stand at 4.90 million shares, representing 0.79 % of the issued share base on the mandate date, leaving significant capacity for further repurchases.
In accordance with Hong Kong listing rules, Boan Biotech is subject to a 30-day moratorium on new share issues or further treasury share disposals, effective until 7 October 2026.
