The People's Bank of China has announced it will issue a set of National Treasures (Fusion and Exchange) gold and silver commemorative coins on June 13, 2026. This set comprises five coins in total, including two gold coins and three silver coins, all of which are legal tender of the People's Republic of China.

Design of the Commemorative Coins

The obverse side of all coins in this gold and silver set features the national emblem of the People's Republic of China, along with the country name and the year of issue.

The reverse sides feature different designs. The 15-gram circular gold coin depicts the Jin Guiyi Qiang Hou Gold Seal, complemented by decorative elements including the seal's inscription text, a map, and patterns from the Jin Dynasty. It is inscribed with "National Treasure - Jin Guiyi Qiang Hou Gold Seal" and its denomination.

The 3-gram circular gold coin features a design of a duck-shaped glass vessel, set against decorative motifs including a schematic map of ancient economic and cultural exchange routes and a gold buyao hair ornament. It is inscribed with "National Treasure - Duck-Shaped Glass Vessel" and its denomination.

The 15-gram circular silver coin showcases a design based on the brick relief of a courier, complemented by cloud pattern decorations. It is inscribed with "National Treasure - Brick Relief of a Courier" and its denomination.

Another 15-gram circular silver coin features a design of celadon pottery figurines of scholars, set against a background of bamboo slips. It is inscribed with "National Treasure - Celadon Pottery Figurines of Scholars" and its denomination.

The final 15-gram circular silver coin depicts a celadon lotus-shaped zun vessel, inscribed with "National Treasure - Celadon Lotus-Shaped Zun" and its denomination.

Specifications and Mintage

The 15-gram circular gold coin is a proof coin, containing 15 grams of pure gold, with a diameter of 27 mm, a face value of 200 yuan, a purity of 99.9%, and a maximum mintage of 2,000 pieces.

The 3-gram circular gold coin is a proof coin, containing 3 grams of pure gold, with a diameter of 18 mm, a face value of 50 yuan, a purity of 99.9%, and a maximum mintage of 5,000 pieces.

The 15-gram circular silver coin is a proof coin, containing 15 grams of pure silver, with a diameter of 33 mm, a face value of 5 yuan, a purity of 99.9%, and a maximum mintage of 30,000 pieces (3 x 10,000).

Minting and Distribution

This set of gold and silver commemorative coins will be minted by Shenyang Mint Co., Ltd., Shanghai Mint Co., Ltd., and Shenzhen Guobao Mint Co., Ltd., with China Gold Coin Group Corporation acting as the general distributor.
