China Starch Completes Additional 4.15 Million-Share Buyback, Lifts Cumulative Repurchases to 113.83 Million Shares

China Starch Holdings Limited disclosed on 14 July 2026 that it repurchased 4.15 million ordinary shares on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange the same day at prices between HKD 0.169 and HKD 0.173, for a total consideration of HKD 0.71 million.

Including this latest transaction, China Starch has bought back 113.83 million shares since its current mandate was approved on 12 May 2026. The aggregate repurchased volume equals 1.91% of the company’s issued share capital (excluding treasury shares) as of the mandate date. All repurchased shares are intended for cancellation; none will be held as treasury stock.

Under the buyback mandate, the company is authorised to repurchase up to 596.45 million shares. Following the 14 July purchase, 482.62 million shares, or about 80.9% of the authorised limit, remain available for potential future repurchases.

China Starch’s issued share capital stood unchanged at 5.96 billion shares as of 14 July 2026 because the repurchased shares have not yet been cancelled. The moratorium on issuing new shares or selling treasury shares will run through 13 August 2026, in accordance with Main Board Rule 10.06(3)(a).

The company confirmed that all repurchases were executed in compliance with Hong Kong Stock Exchange regulations, with no material changes to the explanatory statement dated 14 April 2026.
