As of November 26, the total number of inbound and outbound passengers processed by Ruili Immigration Inspection Station and its subordinate ports exceeded 5 million. By November 28, the figure reached 5.02 million, marking a 7.5% year-on-year increase, with 541,200 vehicles inspected.

The Ruili Port alone handled 4.7225 million passenger crossings, while other checkpoints—Zhangfeng Port, Nongdao, Leiyun, Lameng, and Yinjing—collectively processed 297,500 crossings.

To support high-quality economic development at border ports and enhance China-Myanmar exchanges, the station has implemented measures aligned with the 75th anniversary of diplomatic relations between the two countries. These include: - A dedicated "Belt and Road" channel facilitating efficient clearance for 450 exchange personnel. - A "Cross-Border Schoolchildren Sunshine Channel" ensuring safe and convenient travel for 12,100 students. - An emergency medical green channel assisting 2,086 Myanmar nationals requiring urgent medical entry.

Leveraging technology and policy optimization, the station has advanced "smart port" initiatives. Upgraded inspection systems now integrate visual monitoring, AI-assisted checks, and full-scene tracking of people and vehicles. Innovations such as self-declaration kiosks and facial recognition have improved efficiency while maintaining security.

Additional measures include flexible window scheduling, tailored policies per port, and appointment-based clearance for logistics and key enterprises. These efforts have reduced average passenger wait times by nearly 30% and expedited over 1 million tons of cargo.
