United Overseas Insurance Ltd. (U13) said shareholders at the company’s 55th annual general meeting, held on Apr, 24 2026 in Singapore, adopted the audited financial statements for the year ended Dec, 31 2025 and approved a one-tier tax-exempt final dividend of 19.5 cents per share.

The final payout lifts the total dividend for FY2025 to 26.5 cents per share, a 15% increase from the previous year and equivalent to a 50% distribution of net profit after tax.

Investors also endorsed directors’ fees of 389,809 million Singapore dollars for 2025, reappointed Ernst & Young LLP as external auditor with authority for directors to fix its remuneration, and re-elected directors Chua Kim Leng, Winston Ngan Wan Sing and Tan Yian Hua. All ordinary resolutions gained at least 96% of votes cast, including the mandate allowing directors to issue new ordinary shares.

Chief Executive Officer Andrew Lim reported that FY2025 insurance revenue expanded 2% to 115.4 million Singapore dollars, while profit before tax eased 6% to 31.9 million Singapore dollars due to higher natural-catastrophe claims and continued investment in technology and talent. Investment income rose 15% to 16.6 million Singapore dollars, and return on average equity held steady at 6.5%.

The company reiterated its focus on disciplined growth in Singapore and ASEAN, continued portfolio optimisation and a commitment to maintain its stated 50% dividend payout policy.
