Goldlion warns of HK$45–50 million interim loss, citing property revaluation and subsidiary deregistration impacts

Bulletin Express

Goldlion Holdings Limited has issued a profit warning, projecting a loss attributable to owners of between HK$45.00 million and HK$50.00 million for the six months ended 30 June 2026. The group recorded a loss of HK$3.90 million in the corresponding period of 2025, indicating a significant year-on-year deterioration.

Management attributes the expected setback primarily to three factors: 1. Fair value losses on investment properties have widened by HK$20.70 million. 2. Deregistration of a subsidiary will incur a loss of HK$7.50 million. 3. Net exchange losses are estimated at HK$7.20 million for the period.

The figures are derived from unaudited consolidated management accounts and remain subject to review by the company’s auditors and audit committee. Goldlion plans to release its full interim results on or about 14 August 2026.

The board advises shareholders and potential investors to exercise caution when dealing in the company’s shares.
