UBS Announces Three New Tradable Bull and Bear Certificates Linked to Major Hong Kong Stocks

On September 10, UBS AG released a supplementary listing document detailing its plan to issue three new series of single-stock callable bull and bear certificates. These instruments are tied to the performance of KUAISHOU-W (01024.HK), XIAOMI-W (01810.HK), and YOFC (06869.HK), and are designed as European-style cash-settled R-class products.

The three certificate series have been assigned the security codes 55817, 55818, and 55821, with aggregate issue sizes of 60,000,000, 120,000,000, and 80,000,000 units, respectively. The individual issue prices are set at HKD 0.100, HKD 0.050, and HKD 0.075 per unit for each series.

Of the three new products, series 55817 and 55818 are structured as bear certificates, while series 55821 is classified as a bull certificate. The launch date for all three series is scheduled for September 9, 2026, with the actual issue date set for September 11, 2026. Trading on the stock exchange and the observation period are both slated to commence on September 14, 2026.

The maturity dates vary across the series, with certificates 55817, 55818, and 55821 set to expire on July 4, 2029, July 3, 2029, and February 23, 2027, respectively. The authorization for issuing these certificates was granted to the UBS AG board on September 19, 2001. It is important to note that the issuance of these instruments is contingent upon receiving formal listing approval from the Stock Exchange of Hong Kong.
