At the Hong Kong Stock Exchange's Future Tech Summit, Contemporary Amperex Technology Co.,Ltd. (CATL) Co-Chairman and Executive Director Pan Jian stated that the world is currently undergoing a third energy revolution. Relying on technological and manufacturing innovation capabilities, China's new energy sector is developing more favorably than that of the United States.

Pan Jian expressed the view that electrification will undoubtedly be the mainstream direction going forward. In areas such as automation, autonomous driving, and automated energy replenishment, the product strength in the United States and Europe is not as robust as it is in China.

Pan Jian also mentioned, "Bill Gates previously believed that heavy-duty trucks could not be automated, but currently, the penetration rate of new energy heavy-duty trucks in China has already reached 30%." New energy heavy-duty trucks are one of the focal directions for CATL.
