On November 26, Kimco University held a grand ceremony titled "Enterprise Hearts Nurturing Talents, Safeguarding Employment"—the Appointment Ceremony for Enterprise Class Advisors. University Party Secretary Liu Zhiyuan attended and delivered a speech, alongside other university leaders, representatives of the newly appointed enterprise advisors, heads of relevant departments, and faculty and student representatives, all gathered to witness this meaningful university-enterprise collaboration. The event was presided over by President Ji Sai.

**Unveiling the New Mentors** During the ceremony, Wang Ruchun, Director of Student Affairs, introduced the enterprise class advisor initiative. This program, backed by policies such as "Guidelines on Accelerating the Construction of Ideological and Political Education Systems in Universities" and "Action Plan for Deepening Industry-Education Integration," has been piloted for nearly a decade in schools including Animal Science & Food Engineering, Horticulture & Landscape Architecture, Software Engineering, Arts, Animation, and Foreign Languages. The initiative aims to appoint outstanding entrepreneurs, industry leaders, and technical experts with strong political awareness, practical experience, and a passion for education as enterprise class advisors. Together, they explore a tripartite education model integrating "enterprise-school-student" to bridge talent cultivation with industry needs and enhance the "education-practice-employment" chain.

A total of 137 distinguished entrepreneurs were appointed. Amid applause, university leaders presented them with certificates as "Enterprise Class Advisors" and "Employment Safeguard Ambassadors."

Jiang Qingguo, Vice Chairman of Dalian Sanyi Group, spoke as an enterprise advisor representative, stating, "Our connection with Kimco stems from mutual trust and inspiration," which resonated deeply with attendees and highlighted the enterprises' commitment to talent development.

Gan Liming, Deputy Party Secretary of the Horticulture & Landscape Architecture School, shared the school’s five-year achievements in university-enterprise collaboration, offering a practical "reference guide" for broader implementation.

**Words of Encouragement** Liu Zhiyuan expressed three expectations: gratitude to the advisors for enriching Kimco’s applied talent cultivation; a call for schools to facilitate collaboration and ensure educational outcomes through advisor involvement, creating a "ideological education-industry practice-employment service" loop; and encouragement for students to seize this opportunity, internalize mentors’ insights, and accelerate their growth.

President Ji Sai emphasized three "core requirements" to advance the program: leveraging enterprise resources to boost applied education; aligning with student growth to secure high-quality employment by integrating industry trends into campus; and fostering industry-talent synergy for a win-win outcome benefiting students, enterprises, and the university.

**Multi-Dimensional Engagement Begins** Post-ceremony, the newly appointed advisors toured the university’s history museum and innovation hub, immersing themselves in Kimco’s educational ethos. Schools then held advisory meetings to discuss practical teaching, internships, and employment, sparking new ideas for collaborative education.

From policy design to implementation, the enterprise class advisor system represents Kimco’s innovative effort to merge ideological education with industry practice and explore high-quality applied talent cultivation. The addition of 137 advisors marks a new chapter in university-enterprise collaboration, equipping Kimco students with a "growth boost." The university will build on this initiative, combining internal and external mentorship to transform enterprise resources into educational strengths, empowering students with theoretical knowledge, industry perspectives, and practical skills to become highly capable professionals meeting regional socio-economic demands.
