With International Consumer Rights Day approaching, efforts are intensifying to boost consumer confidence, promote collaborative governance in consumer rights protection, and create a safer consumption environment. In this context, Sina Finance, in partnership with the consumer complaint platform Hei Mao Tousu, has launched a 2026 consumer rights protection initiative.

Recently, the consumer complaint platform Hei Mao Tousu released its 2025 Red and Black Lists for digital products. The Rogers brand appeared on the Black List due to a zero response rate to complaints. On the Hei Mao Tousu platform, consumer disputes involving Rogers primarily revolve around product quality defects, uncooperative after-sales service, and ambiguous return policies. Consumers purchasing products such as televisions and cameras often face difficulties in protecting their rights due to unreasonable terms set by merchants or inherent product issues.

The platform advises that while Rogers products carry a high price tag, they present significant risks in quality control and after-sales service. Consumers are recommended to prioritize official direct sales channels, record unboxing videos upon delivery, and regularly back up data to prevent sudden malfunctions. In cases of unresponsive after-sales service or disputes over terms, it is crucial to preserve evidence such as chat logs and inspection reports, and to promptly file a complaint via the Hei Mao Tousu platform to avoid delays that complicate the rights protection process.
