Xiaomi Group's mobile division has recently undergone personnel changes, with former Shenzhen regional general manager Ge Weiyan being reassigned to the role of general manager for the mobile camera department.

It is reported that Ge Weiyan will subsequently report to Xu Chunli, vice president of Xiaomi's mobile division and general manager of the hardware engineering department.

Information shows that Ge Weiyan previously held positions at Qualcomm and Apple. He joined Xiaomi in 2014 and has successively served as general manager of the mobile testing department, general manager of the Shenzhen regional headquarters, and concurrently as the dean of the Shenzhen Mobile Research Institute.
