Hong Kong lithium battery stocks experienced a notable uptick, with CATL rising more than 5% following its earnings report. Both Contemporary Amperex Technology Co., Limited and BYD Electronic rose more than 3%, while Ganfeng Lithium increased over 2% and Tianqi Lithium saw a rise of over 1%.

On October 20, CATL announced its third-quarter results for 2025, reporting a net profit attributable to shareholders of 18.55 billion RMB, a significant year-on-year increase of 41.21%. The profit growth rate markedly outpaced that of revenue, which reached 104.19 billion RMB, reflecting a year-on-year increase of 12.90%.
