China International Marine Containers (Group) Co., Ltd. (CIMC) disclosed that it bought back 1.00 million H shares on 11 June 2026 via on-market transactions. The repurchase was executed at prices between HKD 8.71 and HKD 8.84 per share, resulting in a volume-weighted average cost of HKD 8.78 per share and an aggregate consideration of HKD 8.78 million.

Prior to the transaction, CIMC had 3.013 billion issued H shares (excluding treasury shares) and 75.94 million treasury shares, for a total issued share count of 3.09 billion. Post-repurchase, issued shares outstanding decreased by 1.00 million (0.03%) to 3.013 billion, while treasury holdings rose to 76.94 million shares. The company’s total issued share capital remains unchanged at 3.09 billion shares, as the repurchased shares are held in treasury rather than cancelled.

The buyback was executed under the mandate approved on 15 May 2025, which authorizes CIMC to repurchase up to 308.98 million shares. Including the latest transaction, the company has repurchased 76.94 million shares, representing 2.49% of the total shares outstanding at the date the mandate was granted, leaving roughly 232.05 million shares—or about 75% of the mandate—still available for future repurchases.

In accordance with Main Board Rule 10.06(3)(a), CIMC is subject to a moratorium on issuing new shares, or selling or transferring treasury shares, until 11 July 2026.
