Shares representing new consumption concepts on the Hong Kong market are experiencing an upward trend.

BLOKS has seen its gains widen to nearly 11%. Pop Mart International Group Ltd is up over 6%, while Guming Tea has risen more than 5%. Mixue Group has increased by over 4%, with MINISO Group Holding Ltd and Mogao Ping both advancing more than 3%.

This movement follows statements from officials at the National Development and Reform Commission and the Ministry of Commerce regarding the "15th Five-Year Plan for Expanding Consumption." The plan comprises three main sections. The first outlines the overall requirements, establishing the guiding principles and development goals for boosting consumption during the 15th Five-Year Plan period.

The second section details key tasks, deploying 28 major initiatives across six areas. These areas include enhancing the quality and affordability of service consumption, expanding and upgrading goods consumption, fostering new consumption formats, models, and scenarios, improving consumption capacity, optimizing the consumption environment, and strengthening institutional mechanisms to promote consumption.

The third section covers implementation, proposing safeguard measures such as upholding Party leadership, ensuring plan execution, improving consumption statistics, and conducting monitoring and evaluation. Additionally, the plan features nine special sections focusing on specific fields like the silver economy, childcare products and services, cultural and tourism consumption, health consumption, and automobile consumption, outlining concrete implementation measures for these areas.
