In Hebei's Shijiazhuang Xingtang County, leveraging its high-quality apple cultivation, technological empowerment, and brand-building efforts have driven the diversified integration of "agriculture + tourism + culture." Local apples have transformed into a "golden brand," paving a distinctive path for rural revitalization through industrial prosperity and integrated wealth creation for farmers.

In Dong'antai Village, Nanqiao Town, Xingtang County, freshly picked apples—bright in color and crisp in taste—are packed and shipped nationwide. In 2025, the village's 2,800-acre orchard yielded over 4,000 tons of premium-grade apples, generating nearly 10 million yuan in annual revenue for the collective.

Located in the semi-mountainous area at the eastern foothills of the Taihang Mountains, Dong'antai Village benefits from unique soil and climate conditions ideal for apple cultivation. However, years ago, apple farming here was fragmented, with individual households struggling due to a lack of technology and unstable sales channels. To address these challenges, the local government established an apple-growing cooperative and introduced advanced cultivation techniques, doubling apple prices.

With technological advancements and brand recognition, Xingtang apples not only gained higher market value but also secured a geographical indication certification. Through an integrated online and offline sales network, the county's agricultural products—led by apples—now exceed 500 million yuan in annual sales.

The rise of the apple industry has also become a "lever" for Xingtang County to integrate primary, secondary, and tertiary rural industries. By linking apple cultivation with local tourism resources, the county has developed an eco-tourism belt, injecting strong momentum into rural revitalization.

Meanwhile, in She County, Anhui, persimmons have entered their harvest season after the first frost. The fruit-laden trees illuminate the autumn landscape like small lanterns. In Jichuan Village, Shangfeng Township, households are busy harvesting and sun-drying persimmons. The traditional craft of making dried persimmons has been passed down for generations, with villagers meticulously peeling and air-drying the fruit.

Previously, persimmons were mainly consumed at home or gifted to relatives. Now, the village has standardized production through cooperatives, improved quality, and promoted agritourism by offering picking experiences and farm stays. The persimmon industry now contributes over 3 million yuan to the village's economy, increasing household income by an average of 25,000 yuan.
