On August 18, Xiaomi Group released its financial results for the second quarter of 2026. Group President Lu Weibing showcased the EV division's performance on Weibo: revenue from smart electric vehicles and other AI-driven innovations reached RMB 24.9 billion, with 104,199 new vehicles delivered during the quarter. The new-generation SU7 secured the number-one sales position for pure electric sedans priced above RMB 200,000 in the domestic market during the first half of 2026.

Compared to the first quarter, when automotive revenue stood at RMB 19.9 billion with 80,856 units delivered, the second quarter marked a sequential revenue increase of approximately 25% and a nearly 30% surge in deliveries, putting the unit back on its growth trajectory. The SU7's dominance continues to strengthen. According to data from Yiche's sales rankings, the SU7 topped the market for sedans priced above RMB 200,000 (across all powertrain types) in June, while also locking in the cumulative sales crown for pure electric sedans above RMB 200,000 in the first half of the year. In July, SU7 deliveries hit 21,044 units, marking four consecutive months at the top of the 200K-plus sedan segment. Even after more than two years on the market, the model remains a chart-topper following its generational update—truly earning its reputation as the "everlasting SU7."

Lu Weibing further revealed that Xiaomi's Pengcheng N90 Max and N70 Max have opened for pre-sales, completing the company's dual-series lineup. Pengcheng marks Xiaomi's first extended-range electric series: the N70 Max, positioned as a large five-seat all-wheel-drive extended-range mid-to-large SUV, is priced at RMB 259,900, while the N90 Max, a large seven-seat flagship extended-range SUV, starts at RMB 299,900. The latter features a 76kWh high-capacity battery, delivering a CLTC pure electric range of up to 464km and a combined range of 1,705km, with lidar-equipped advanced driver assistance as standard across the range. Together with the pure electric SU7 and YU7, Xiaomi has formally established a dual-track strategy spanning both "pure electric + extended range" and "sedan + SUV."

On the scale front, Xiaomi Auto delivered approximately 185,000 vehicles cumulatively in the first half of the year. The YU7, available for 10 months, has surpassed 232,000 cumulative deliveries, while total brand-wide deliveries have exceeded 700,000 units. With a full-year 2026 delivery target of 550,000 vehicles, the company needs to average over 60,000 units per month in the second half. The conversion of Pengcheng series orders will be a pivotal factor in reaching that goal.
